High School teams from across the South Sound are invited to join us for a Lunch & Discover for Maritime|253, a new regional Career and Technical Education (CTE) skills center opening to students across the South Sound.

Maritime|253 is not a high school. It is a regional CTE skills center, open to all high school students in the South Sound. Students remain enrolled at their home school while spending half of their day at Maritime|253. Enrollment is now open for the 2026–27 school year. During this session learn:
  • Maritime|253 curriculum, class offerings, certifications, and credits
  • Schedule structure and how students split their day between their home high school and Maritime|253
  • An optional session on Tacoma Flex and Oakland online class opportunities
