For many students, attending a two- or four-year college, university, or technical school is a crucial next step on their path to fulfilling their career and life dreams. Families can support their child's higher education goals by joining TPS for our annual College Tours for Families.

Tacoma Public Schools’ Community Partnership Office is organizing tours of eight outstanding local colleges. Each visit includes a customized tour and presentation from college staff on the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, and college life unique to each school. These tours are designed for TPS students and families to learn together.

April Tours 
Tacoma Community College – Thursday, April 25th – 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm 

University of Washington, Tacoma – Saturday, April 27th – 10:15 am - 12 pm

May Tours 
Pacific Lutheran University – Thursday, May 2nd – 6 pm - 7:30 pm

Evergreen College, Tacoma – Saturday, May 18th – 2 - 3 pm
